I started this blog as I began preparing for my first summer as a college missions intern, serving through my church home Morrison Heights Baptist in Clinton… I served in 2015 in British Columbia, Canada, alongside a new church plant called The Cornerstone at White Rock, and, through the same program, I served in 2016 in Las Vegas alongside Tropicana Christian Fellowship and Safely Home Refugee Ministry! Then, during summer 2017, I worked the second half of this summer as a cabin leader at Camp Blessing Texas, a Christian camp for people with special needs and their siblings! (CBTX blog post to come, hopefully)
This blog hasn’t ended with the summer experiences God’s brought me, though. While those have been my focus on here, I’ve been aiming to share the growing experiences, both encouraging and difficult, that I take on (and that take on me) through this crazy beautiful journey called life.
I’m currently spending my final semester of my undergrad career at Mississippi College studying abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and I’ll be sharing my unfiltered journal excerpts about it here as well!
I’m not a writer and never really have been, but I hope you enjoy this site! Feel free to comment and share.
